The industry group MobileWorldLive has yet another interesting sit-down interview with a leading Chinese telecoms exec. This time it’s Huawei’s Ying Weimin, who’s the president of the company’s GSM, UMTS, and LTE business. That means he’s handling Huawei’s extraordinary global push in 4G technology, in which it will be the vendor for 140 commercial 4G systems worldwide.
We already know that Huawei is now the world’s biggest telecoms vendor (looking at revenue), and the gradual roll-out of mobile 4G networks will give it the chance to dominate even further. The video is not embeddable, so head on over to the source link to see the 10-minute interview in full.
