Okezone cites Nusra Sudjito, a representative of Telkom Flexi as saying today that the company is going to build 22,000 wifi hospots all over the East Java and Bali area. The company hopes to finish the installment process by the end of this year. We can assume that the spots will be online for users not long after that.
Sudjito explained the wifi hotspot distribution – Surabaya (7,000 spots), Bali (4,000 spots), Malang (2,500 spots), Madiun (1,000 spots), and Kediri (1,100 spots). There will be around 600 to 1,000 wifi zones to be installed in other areas as well, such as Lumajang, Probolinggo, Bondowoso, Ketapang, and more. Telkom Flexi, Telkomsel, and Telkom Speedy customers can use their usernames to access the hotspots.
