February is the month of love, due to the Valentine’s Day, but e-commerce site Multiply Indonesia wants to focus on another day – International Childhood Cancer Day on February 15th. With a social program called “Saya Peduli,” Multiply is accepting cash donations to help fund the medication needed for cancer-stricken Indonesian children.

Netizens can donate their money by purchasing a yellow ribbon (pictured below) for IDR 50,000 ($5.20). Or folks can also purchase a ticket to a fundraising stand-up comedy event called ‘C3: Caring Comics for Cancer’ for IDR 150,000 ($15.60). For every ticket purchased, IDR 50,000 ($5.20) will be donated to the cause, and Multiply will also give out the yellow ribbon during the event.

Multiply country manager Daniel Tumiwa said that there are around 11,000 Indonesian children diagnosed with cancer every year. All of the donated money will be distributed through non profit organization ‘C3: Community for Children with Cancer’. The Saya Peduli program will continue to accept donations until February 23rd. The company will distribute the donations on the following day.
