inmobi-new-logoBoth Vanessa and I were at Inmobi’s Singapore office recently to meet up with a couple of friends for chat. Interestingly, the new office didn’t have any logo displayed. It didn’t feel like an InMobi office, and I thought it was pretty unusual at the time.

I asked some of the staff why but they explained that they are more focused on getting real work done. What I didn’t know was that the mobile ad network company was planning a rebranding. The new logo, as you see on the right, is the final outcome.

InMobi isn’t new to rebranding. In 2009, it rebranded itself from Mkhoj to InMobi. For anyone who would like to learn more, check out the slide deck below to track the changes.

InMobi has been surging and making headlines over the last 12 months. It raised $200 million from SoftBank, acquired Sprout, and is in the process of tackling China. InMobi claims to be the largest independent mobile ad network in the world, generating over 77 billion impressions a month.

The new InMobi logo looks sharp and looks far more ‘tech-ish.’ Let us know if you like it.
