As part of the CeBIT 2012 conference in Germany, the CODE_n12 contest is seeking out the 50 best mobile innovators from around the world.
In addition to getting a chance to win 25,000 euros (over $33,000), those who make the top 50 would have a chance to display their mobile wares are CeBIT show, one of the largest IT shows in the world.
Will Asian innovators be represented? That remains to be seen, of course. But for applicants who may require English assistance when entering, CScout (a trend consulting firm which has been enlisted to help promote the event) is trying to encourage more Asian participants – particularly Japanese ones – in the contest. CScout has more information in both English and Japanese should you require more details. The deadline for application in December 14.
So if you’re a Japan- or Asia-based mobile startup with a great idea that can help ‘shape mobile life’ then we hope that you can give it a go (application forms are here), and represent the continent well at CeBIT. And if you can’t make it all the way to Germany, we have our Startup Asia event coming up in sunny Singapore, perhaps a little closer to home for most in the region.
